We have all been looking forward to our reopening for what seems like an eternity but tomorrow is the day. We are delighted to be in a position to open and to welcome you all back. There are a few things we would like to remind you about before you start. Please book your tee time in advance using the online booking system. If you subsequently can't play, please cancel your booking. This is important as we are obliged to maintain an accurate record of all on course activity. Course rangers will be on duty all day and will do their best to ensure your safety as well as helping to keep play moving. Much work has been done around the clubhouse, the carpark and the golf course and we are very happy with work to date. However, not everything is complete and some areas still need to settle down. For that reason, and to ensure compliance with covid 19 regulations, we ask the following of you. You should arrive just before your tee time and be ready to tee off at the time you have booked. When you finish, you should leave without delay. This is all in the interest of safety. Hand sanitisers are provided. There are some areas quite heavily sanded, especially on the 3rd fairway, and we ask that you tee up in those areas. Normal grass growth will solve this problem in a short few weeks but for now, we need to protect the course. Please note the 6th tee has been brought forward to allow the area around the tee box to recover following drainage works. It is very important that you use the mat provided. As always, please replace all divots and repair all pitch marks. If you see someone else's divot or unrepaired pitch mark, please treat it as your own and do what is necessary. When you finish your game, please use the temporary cleaning area before you reach the carpark to remove debris from your shoes and trolley. We ask that you put a small hand brush into your bag for this reason.
We expect you are all looking forward to getting back out there as much as we are. We just need to do so in a safe manner and we thank you in advance for your co-operation. As the situation allows, we will move on to allowing more people out together, 18 hole golf and competitions. Hopefully, that will be sooner rather than later but at all times, we will follow Golf Ireland guidelines as you would expect us to do.
