COMPETITION NOTES:

ELIGIBILITY:

1 A person who joined Virginia Golf Club in 2021 is not eligible to win first prize. He is eligible to win any other prize.

2 You must have played in and returned 5 score cards from Qualifying Competitions in 2021, to be eligible to win first prize.

3 Participation in the Fleetwood Cup or Kevin McDonnell Cup is deemed Qualifying Competition.

4 You must be available to play in the Afternoon of Day 2 at your allotted time.

COMPETITION ENTRY:

Please make sure you have signed into the competition before you play, using the digicard sign-in on Clubnet App. Failure to do so will mean your card /score will not be included in the competition.

SCORE CARD

Please make sure your card is properly completed and includes the following information.

1 Your name and that of your marker.

2 Your 3 handicap numbers i.e. - Handicap index, Course Handicap & Playing Handicap. When you sign in, this information is available on the Clubnet digicard.

3 On completion of your round, agree your score with your marker. You should keep a record of your own score on the card you are marking.

4 Have your marker sign your card and then take a photo of your card.

5 Return your score electronically, again using the digicard on the Clubnet app.

6 If you score 65 net or better, please send a photo of your card to Comp Sec., Arthur, @ 086/8555749.

7 Finally, please ensure all cards are returned to the score card box. This is a requirement of Golf Ireland, for future Audit purposes.

Afternoon of Day 2.

The top 36, as posted by the computer as a result from Day 1, will qualify and go out in reverse order in the afternoon of Day 2. These players will be allocated a slot depending upon the Order of Merit. If you qualify and are unable to play, please let us know as soon as possible. Final play off will begin at 1.30pm, Day 2.

Going on past scores and scores for this year if you score 65 or better there is a GOOD POSSIBILITY you will qualify for above.

NB. If you qualify as part of the top 36 players and do not play in the afternoon, you forfeit your right to win 1st Prize.

PRIZEGIVING

We are hopeful that prizegiving will commence at 7.00 pm beginning with presentation of all outstanding prizes to date and then the presentation of Captain Mr Vivian Connell's Prize.

If you are due an outstanding prize, please, if possible, try to be present for the prize giving.
